Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
Yup, just a flu... Do you realize you're basically trolling threads related to Covid-19? I could see if you were just commenting on the situation, expressing opinion of governments over-reacting, etc, but you're constantly trying to relate this to a common cold or something, talking about how anyone who is the Slightest bit concerned is being ridiculous, and I believe in one thread I saw a comment you made about the whole thing being staged?? You've made seven posts in the last few pages of this thread, with the rest being more evenly distributed among other members. Most of everyone else's posts are simply talking about it or providing information. Please tone down the frequency of sharing your radical opinions on the subject.

I realise that this is the main thread on CEO regarding Corona Virus, but the first post was made on January 11th and it's now 149 pages long.
I'm sure I'm not the only person to avoid this thread like the plague (pun intended) because I can't be bothered to read through all the previous posts in order to make sense of the latest posts.
Can we close this thread now and start a new one? The world has moved on since January 11th and nobody's interested in what was being said back then, People are more likely to click on a thread if there are less pages associated with it.

Hunter8 doesn't care what anybody else thinks. He's a tough guy, contemptuous of everything and anyone who doesn't agree with him because his knowledge is vastly superior to ours and the scientists of the World Health Organisation - obviously.Electric Earth wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 7:47 pmYup, just a flu... Hunter8 is a knob, let's face it.

Insurance is almost always a ripoff. They make the money by promising everything so you pay. Then deny everything so they keep that money. There is a reason the print is small, voluminous and hard to understand (written in legalese). If they write it so it's easy to read and understand then no one would buy it.

Eh. Just read the last 10-15 pages or so and you'll be close enough. It won't take too long. No need to go to the beginning. Then just read the couple new pages every day and you're up to date! : )

Thank you for sharing this. I will be very careful to read the fine print in the future.
So the definition of the WHO then determines whether the insurance pays.

First, Cambodia is pure and does not have it. Official.
Then, many countries are a deadly risk, but not China. Official.
Now, only Muslims get it. Official.
KR stuff.
Frankly, the latest is the most worrying to me, this has a abiltiy to cause major damage to Cambodia's cultural harmony.

The problem is actuarial tables. They cover the percentage chance of all sorts of things happening. The company crunches the numbers and comes up with a premium number that will cover it.yongchi wrote:Thank you for sharing this. I will be very careful to read the fine print in the future.

All insurance companies got a rude wake up on 9/11. Thousands of well insured clients died. No actuarial could have predicted that happening. No tables can predict the chance of death or injury from a mass act of God (aka pandemic).
Please be safe out there. Try not to get coronavirus and not get blown up by a terrorist.
