Gutter language on the forum

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Why do people get offended by words?

If I say... hey you cunt, yes you cunty cunt face - then sure be offended because that was my intention.

If I say... jeeze I'm so fucking wasted right not - then if you get offended your probably a muppet.

This reminds me of all the shit with the young people... Oh I so offended, your words offend me --- grow a fucking pair! Its up to the individual to care for their own feelings not up to me to make sure my words i dont offend you!

So most of the women just stay away, and many others.

No right or wrongs, you can go out of your way to offend as many people as you want, Dude.
But you will narrow your world considerably.

just making a point

In reality, I don't go out looking to offend. But judgemental and self-proclaimed victims are fair game XD

Swear language is “loss of face” in my opinion. Sometimes i do it, it’s wrong to do it.

Thats good right. We should all have our own opinions, otherwise evenings in the pub would be very boring indeed!!!

BUT... to enforce an opinion on other people is not right.

OP,

Edited the topic title to better reflect what this topic is about for members.

A few members have referred to some particular swear words in this thread...is this what you are referring to when you say 'gutter language'?

I don’t mind if they are just words. But often they are followed by violent actions. When a person is swearing, wait for him (sometimes her) to start making trouble.
