Buying a generator 2-5Kva in PP

Post by The Goat »

Greetings.

Searched the forum here and much information on gas/ diesel generators.

I was unable to find information on any recommendations as to where to buy a somewhat decent quality machine anywhere from 2-5KvA in PP (used or new)
any places with name brands? warranties? Certainly dont trust a cheap-o no name brand

Noise isnt an issue, for many noise-a-holics in the countryside.

Been meaning to buy one of these for a while due to power cuts at my farm.

As always, thx for the advice.

There are a bunch of places on Preah Sisowath/ road 5 on the west side (opposite the river) around st 58. Everything from cheap junk to huge Cummins that would power an apartment block. I'd check there
up to you...

My friend has a good 15kva unit for $2100, and can deliver.

my friend was looking at a small honda gennie that worked off lpg and diesle or petrol, on the basis that lpg is far cheaper when available and the alternate was useable if lpg was hard to find

I recently bought a second generator from Global House. 2 1/2 kw and it was $189 with 12 month warranty. They have cheaper and more expensive but nothing over 5kw.
