Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
Could be the better option really, better overall healthcare and I think BKK airport has more flights on, the memes were good fun but now it's starting to cause some effect my anxiety isn't having the best time lol. Where would you recommend in Thailand?hunter8 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 3:21 pmIf you are not banned to fly into Thailand, depending on your passport, you may find some peace of mind here as i am doing right now after my Cambodian tourist visa expired. I don’t know for how long, but could be an option to wait it out.JUDGEDREDD wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 3:04 pm Thoughts and advice for my anxious mind please chaps and chapesses.
I'm currently using the shittest mask that feels like cut up fabric. Putting toilet paper under to act as defense 2.0. really need to find a bottle of hand San as well.
Becoming a black belt at doing stuff without my hands tho
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

I am in Pattaya, don’t know about other places right now. Here it’s still pretty relaxed, i guess compared to other parts of the world, but obviously nobody can predict what happens next.

all fine in Phuket, fully stocked supermarkets,no mad rush to stock up on anything, less than 10% of people wearing masks,
beach is fine,( swim everyday, doubt the virus will survive in the sea) although it is unusually hot this year.
Other than avoid large crowds and dont touch everything and wash my hands more often, i do as i usually do
Masks dont do shit....
PS ; costs ya less to stay,( plenty of $200-300/month aircon apts/condos) than Phnom Penh

Why not Cambodia ? You would have to come tomorrow, but once you are here, there should be no problem to apply for a EOS and stay on as long as it takes.JUDGEDREDD wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 4:29 pm Can only get a monthly visa for Thailand tho, guess I can extend it once without leaving the country (iirc).

There are worse places to be stuck, and there's no coronavirus here,(except for a few bloody foreigners), because HE has said so. Life is going on completely as normal here (for the moment) while the rest of the world is in lockdown and busy panic-buying. No quarantine, and nobody freaking out at westerner disease-bringers (for the moment.)
Above all, I definitely wouldn't go back to Europe, not now that you've escaped.

I believe it is no longer possible for foreigners to get a visa for Thailand through an agent in Phnom Penh. However, for Khmer it is still possible. Foreigners have to show up at the Embassy themselves.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 5:04 pm get a 2 month visa thru agent , than once ur here extend 30 days,
