A fatal drinking accident...

Cambodia News (Pursat): On March 11, 2020, at 10:11 am, a 26-year-old man, Hom Chantho, was arrested for using a homemade gun to shoot a man to death in Kro Kor district, Pursat. The victim was identified as Van Veasna, 24 years old; he got shot in the head, and died on the way to the hospital.

The suspect said on March 9, in the evening, he and the victim and two other men went to drink together near the pond. After that, they all got drunk and the other two friends went back home, leaving him and his friend. Then, he thought he saw a bird, so he took his homemade gun and attempted to shoot it, but unfortunately, he fired at the victim's head, killing him immediately.
