The VNA on Friday posted its article on its website titled “Medical declarations implemented for travellers from EU and Cambodia”.
The report said Vietnam’s Health Ministry has requested provincial or municipal People’s Committees to get medical declarations on COVID-19 for visitors who travelled through the European Union or Cambodia as of midnight Saturday. It said health officials will insist on medical declarations at border gates with Cambodia.
“Provinces and cities should arrange English and Khmer interpreters to work at the border gates to support and screen medical declaration forms,” it said. Speaking at an inauguration of the National Road 55 in Pursat province yesterday, Mr HE demanded the VNA take down false news on COVID-19 about Cambodia.

ANSWER:CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 9:32 pm Food for thought. Does this mean that there should be a temporary halt to these cruises and large tour groups in general ?
CEO News opened a topic recently on the Mekong river boat cruises that were sailing between Vietnam and Cambodia as usual in February, while the sea cruise ships were being quarantined for coronavirus:

https://www.voacambodia.com/a/cambodia- ... 22706.htmlWhen asked if there was any plan to scrutinize the entry of the ships and cruises entering the country, Health Minister Mam Bunheng said there would be “no restriction” as it is not the “government’s policies” to do that.

Mam Bunheng said the British tourist was aboard a river cruise owned by Swiss cruise line Viking that started in the riverine town of May Tho near Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, passing Phnom Penh and docked at Kampong Cham province, along the Mekong River. The cruise had 30 passengers onboard and 34 crew members, who have now been quarantined on the ship, Mam Bunheng added.
“The Health Ministry made an arrangement to transfer the British woman from the ship to a separate ward at Kampong Cham Provincial Hospital for treatment and medical observation,” said the minister.

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
Well, look at this, A charter boat with over 1,800 people cruised up to Phuket from Singapore the last week, Phuket refused to allow them to land, they than headed to Penang where they also were turned away, so had to return to Singaporefood for thought. Does this mean that there should be a temporary halt to these cruises and large tour groups in general ?
The boat that ended up in Camboida, was refused to dock in other countries
Boat in SF Bay, refused to allow to dock
Boat in Japan quarantined for 14 days and still many got the virus
I'd say that right there tells anyone and everyone, FORGET getting on a cruise ship and the cruise liners are crazy to not cancel all cruises worldwide for the time being. But assume they dont want refund the $$

A specialist from a Milan ICU unit explains why the virus is not 'just the flu'.
Some quotes:
"We now have around 600 patients treated in the ICU in about 50-55 dedicated ICU beds".
"The median age of the patients admitted in the ICU is 65, meaning half of the patients admitted are older, half of the patients are younger than 65 years."
"We have to be more strict in, ..., I would not say selection but triage of the patients [admitted to the ICU]...."
