Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Doubtful.
Hell, this might make it more appealing to them. They can eat endangered animals and boast about how they eat them and haven't gotten a virus. Sounds like the sort of thing they'll be into. And just imagine the prices on supposed "guarantied virus free" endangered animals.
Do you think the parents of baby boomers whined so much when the boomers started changing society? And yet the whiney ones like to call young people "snowflakes." Hmm...

Locals are fleeing Siem Reap to ‘avoid’ coronavirus.
Do you have a source for this ? Even if you post something like, "according to my mother-in-law's sister-in-law", or " from what I read on social media", then we can evaluate the reliability of the source of your statement.
Many rumours and a lot of misinformation flying around right now. IMO we should pay attention to what we are posting as information. :director:

I would like to see that substantiated, too. No one from the Missus’s extensive family is bailing.

On a positive note:
From 3/7 NYC Health Dept presser:
Most significant new data: the virus dies in minutes if it doesn't find a suitable host environment (bodily fluids, water). If you're following the hygiene guidelines, it's VERY unlikely you'll be infected & Americans are obsessed with hygiene.

with the cruise ship held up in sf, passengers trapped in Japan onboard,
docking in Cambodia when everyone else refused to allow them to dock
now this one;
After being turned away by Thai and Malaysian authorities, over fears of possible coronavirus patients being aboard, the Costa Fortuna is now heading to Singapore. But Singapore port authorities are not saying if they will allow the ship to dock at this stage.

The operator of the cruise ship Costa Fortuna says it was heading to Singapore to end its journey tomorrow, as planned, after it was turned away from Malaysia and Thailand over coronavirus fears.

Could be a HUGE dent in cruises for the next......

Ships like them can always be used for the transportation in the live cattle and sheep trade.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

In a way, that's already the case.
