He finally admits the virus is in Cambodia and promptly shuts down the schools;
https://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/ ... P7nN4RoEbsPrime Minister HE has ordered all schools in Siem Reap town closed with immediate effect.
He also ordered the cancellation of the Angkor Sangkran festival planned in conjunction with Khmer New Year in mid-April.
This comes after Minister of Health Mam Bun Heng confirmed that a 38-year-old Cambodian man tested positive for Covid19.
The victim had direct contact with the 40-year-old Japanese man who had contracted the virus earlier this week.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Two separate types of the novel coronavirus — one more aggressive than the other — could be infecting people during the sweeping outbreak, Chinese scientists revealed in a new study.
The preliminary study, conducted by researchers from Peking University’s School of Life Sciences and the Institute Pasteur of Shanghai under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, revealed that the infection has evolved into two major types, designated L and S.

"China's Epidemic of Lies"
Get ready... China is planning to deny it originated in China
...on Wednesday, foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian claimed that “confirmed cases of #COVID19 were first found in China, but its origin is not necessarily in China” and that “We are still tracing the origin”. [emphasis added]
On the same day China Daily tweeted that:
The Huanan Seafood Market is undergoing cleaning and disinfection work in #Wuhan, #China. The wet market was once believed to be the origin of the novel #coronavirus. [emphasis added]
A short read, worth 2 minutes of your time.
