Dr. Francis Boyle, Expert in Biological Warfare, believes that Covid19 is a Biological Weapon

You sound like a government operative.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 7:07 pm Big N - you see, that is the problem when you start off with the most bizarre theory proposed by a certifiable lunatic. As this thread started.
Then conflate it with a whole bunch of unrelated stuff.
You get garbled tabloid fear-mongering and conspiracy theories swirling all around. Like this tabloid TV story. ^^^
And then most people disregard the lot.
The last three "sentences" say it all.
Mentioning escaped bats, biological weapons, and CCP repression of criticism - all bundled together as if it was related.
Ending with the dramatic and totally unrelated "that could be the last communication of his life"
Laughable.
The sources quoted for this piece include nothing better than The Mirror and the Washington Times. Both rags.
The report itself makes clear this is only "speculation" (coming from a few individuals of no established credibility) and that "it needs further examination"
Nevertheless it is carried around the world - for what?
-for the love of fear, rumour and conspiracy. And to sell rags.
NB, Not saying anything is not possible, but these kind of tabloid rumours certainly have very little credibility.
Link below is to article from about two weeks ago when many of these wild rumours and sensational speculation were already swirling.
This excellent piece of investigative journalism details just how scratchy they are.

The news story is from the official South Korean news agency.
If it was a Biological Weapon that escaped what would you expect from the Chinese Communist Party? Admission of responsibility????
Or smear campaigns and DISINFORMATION attacks?
You are the one who is laughable, if it wasn't so damn terrifying that people like you would bury the truth.

Is it international nutcase day already?
Re: Dr. Francis Boyle, Expert in Biological Warfare, believes that Covid19 is a Biological Weapon
Or International Conspiracy Theory Day!
Below is the Russian contribution.
Russia Knows Just Who to Blame for the Coronavirus: America
Conspiracy theories are all over state media, following past patterns of disinformation.
The overarching theme of the stories that appear across the Russian media, from fringe websites to prime-time television, is that the virus is the product of U.S. labs, intended to kneecap China’s economic development. Some articles have flirted with the idea that Bill Gates or Kremlin nemesis George Soros might have had a hand in the outbreak. In one of the more bizarre turns, a host on Russia’s state-funded Channel 1 floated the idea that the name “coronavirus,” is a veiled reference to its American origins, because U.S. President Donald Trump once handed out crowns at beauty pageants, and corona means crown in Latin. (Coronaviruses are, in fact, a well-established group of viruses whose name is a reference to their shape.)

and
This kind of response is extremely helpful in debunking an erroneous hypothesis. Name calling and accusations of a conspiracy theorist, or tin hatter is NOT! Accusations of conspiracy theorist only fuels the suspicion that something is wrong. When institutions such as the WHO down play the nature of the situation in favor of economic growth resulting in lives lost for sake of money, the natural response is to question everything and everyone. The WHO had a chance to grow in prestige and influence but they caved to the CCP and lost both. Welcome to the Forth Turning.

ho ho ho ^^^ i haven't opened this page for a few days. Hilarious.
This is a radio interview with one the world's foremost emerging viruses experts. (see link below)
He explains in a quite everyday way the current knowledge and thinking about the possible transmission of this virus from bats - through another animal host - to humans.
They know for sure SARS originated in bats, that it probably went thru' another animal host where it slightly mutated, then was picked up by humans.
They still are not sure that it did go via another host, or what that host was, but they are very confident that -
a/ it originated in bats, - from genetics. (very reliable for this)
b/ that the outbreak came out of a particular wildlife market.- by tracking it right back to the first cases.
nb, the pangolin is still only one possibility. but in any case the trade in all wildlife in China has just suffered a massive blow. yo ho ho and a bottle rum. At least that is some silver lining.
