GM scraps historic Holden car brand in Australia
Bye-bye Holden:
From the BBC:
From the BBC:
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-51499775General Motors has said it will retire the iconic Australian car brand Holden as it leaves more markets.
The American car giant said it will wind down Holden sales, design and engineering operations in Australia and New Zealand by next year.
Re: GM scraps historic Holden car brand in Australia
A bit like Norton (lesser extent) in the UK, failed to adapt, abysmal management of iconic brands. Real shame to see Holden go though, it's right up there with kangaroos, VB beer & drop bears as national icons. Looking forward to "Ozzyman" reviews on this subject.

GM has announced that it is getting out of the RHD vehicle market worldwide.
As also just reported by the Bangkok Post: GM will stop selling Chevrolet vehicles in Thailand and sell its Rayong plant to Great Wall by the end of this year. Clearly GM is going through a big worldwide reset.
Sad to see Holden finish like this.

The answer would be to have '' center drive '' cars that could drive on the left or the right .
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
