Steak
Re: Steak
For my steak night (which could be a few days running) I'd always go the 'french' place on riverside next to 130 street. Number 84K on the menu is the one I had, which I think is the pepper sauce version. Can get it with some tasty sauted potatoes. $9.50 with a lime juice, and was usually good.
Re: Steak
Of course there is a split charge.
One of you is taking up a seat on a busy night and not fucking ordering..
My advice is to find the Lee Frozen food office in whatever city you live in..PP.. Sihanoukville..Kampot..Siem Reap ...and lay down $100us for a whole ribeye.
they can cut it on their band saw if you want to your desired thickness.
I temper mine a skosh...and break it down into steaks and roasts... refreeze and have 5kg. of joy..
buy some spuds...
For 4 steak nights...I have many wonderful meals...
I usually buy a prime cut New Zealand steer ribeye.
leaner than USA..Brazil.. Argentina... but for about $9.30/lb. us ....I can't go wrong...
I have gone to all 4 of the outlets I named..
they have other offices in cities I have not lived in in Cambodia.
If you want USA beef or Aussie or other cuts ...they are all available...
The office in Kampot is a wonderful little place...easy to find...
Fire up the BBQ...or pan sear..or a Sunday roast..
go for it.

I get my whole ribeyes from Strokesys, imported from NZ or Aus, fantastic quality. Haven't tried Leesj57 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 4:38 am Of course there is a split charge.
