Irish Elections 2020
Irish Elections 2020
I don't normally take any interest in Irish elections but these numbers made me think. The three leading parties, and the ones who will form the next government in some shape or form, could not muster support individually of more than about 1 in 5 Irish voters.
If you were running to be in charge of your country and barely more than 1 in 5 of your citizens thought you were up to the job, with nearly 4 out of 5 probably thinking you were just a gobshite, at what point do you have a bit of self reflection and realise that you have no mandate to lead whatsoever.
