"It's like a living hell" Says British School Teacher Stuck in Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I gotta laff. i know wisbech. it has a reputation. Most places its not safe to go aout at night, wisbech its not safe to go out ever :-) i think there may be a shop or two there, possibly a pharmacist and used to be quite a few pubs. Often brawls as boys from one village or another fought over girls. Rough as it gets

So they are not in PP at all but in Chinaville.... hmmm now why would you leave PP if you were serious about leaving the country to go the Chinatown on the coast.... on the coast with a beach... and islands and a cool vibe and a chilled atmosphere.

Oh dear... I think I know what happened.

They thought that it would be cool to wait it out on the beach and then when they realised that going to the islands with limited and often non existent internet wasn’t such a good idea they found themselves stuck there.
Poorly thought out choices results in poor little lost girl crying for mommy and papa.

I think they flew into Sihanoukville from Wuhan and probably never were in Phnom Penh.
