Electric $$$$$ for studio apartment?
Re: Electric $$$$$ for studio apartment?
I have one A/C in the bedroom of my apartment which I don't use during the day but have running during the night, every night. My stove is gas but I have a small electric oven that i use for about 30-40 minutes on average about 3 times a week or so. Apart from that, I have the usual laptop / TV / fridge that I use on an average basis I'd say.
My electricity bill always seems to be between $80-$90 per month, regardless of what temperature or power saving mode I put the A/C on, which has always made me wonder if my electricity bill is somehow fabricated. I do have access to the meter and could monitor it I guess but I've really got better things to do.

Re: Electric $$$$$ for studio apartment?
As above, I pay always $80-$90 per month for electricity. My fee is $0.25 per kWh. I live in a 1-bedroom, modern condo, with a large generator in the basement that turns on automatically when power is cut.
I am using 1 small AC (bedroom) overnight non stop when I sleep and on weekends + evenings I use a larger one (living room). Cooking is on gas. Washing machine, microwave, iron, plus a laptop, energy-saving lights. No TV.
