Considering the victim has been in an induced coma for a week, I'd like to think that anyone with information would offer it up regardless of the $100 reward.

Good luck. I hope the driver is caught and they aren't simply told to 'pay compensation'.

Is the victim a long term Dutch expat does anyone know per chance?

The pic shown is not an RX300, but an RX330 - a little detail, but possibly important. Which was it, an RX300 as told, or a car like the RX330 shown?

As if you'd notice that difference when you're hit....

Should add that the number plate in that case would be "2?-7164", so you're only missing the letter. Sadly a quick Google check doesn't reveal any previous on any number plate from 2A-7164 through to 2Z-7164 in any local news.

He seems to have remembered the number plate which is a darn sight harder to recall than what type of car it was surely? Just trying to help narrow it down if the Op is able to; if not, then there is still plenty for the boys in khaki to dig into on the last 4 digits and 'black lexus' alone. Not that they will sadly.

Depends on how much you're into cars. I almost cannot tell the difference between a Jeep and a Jaquar, but am good at numbers.
Anyway, I understand you're trying to help, so that's OK.

How do you know it would start with 2? Do all car plates start with 2?

As a survivor of many dramatic motorcycle events, the worst of which left me on crutches for 12 months almost, it's interesting how much minutae you can recall. I believe it's something to do with the perception of limial time.
