Pssst.... Mr EMMANUEL DIAS. Some inside info for free. Kratie airport has been turned into a uni, and Ratanakiri airport is currently only capable of handling choppers. And landing any of the two planes mentioned @ Kampong Cham airport will be extremely challenging if you want to keep the plane in one piece.

I thought the plan say the are planning to use seaplanes when operating to Kratie and Kampong Cham as well as some other locations? So as long as there is a river or lake, there is no need for airport.Kammekor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 4:10 pmSound business plan then....Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:44 pmYes, but there will soon be TWO airports in Koh Kong.Kammekor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:28 pm Pssst.... A bit silly considering that with a proper road you could get there in just over two hours...

I raise you to 3
The new Koh Kong city (Krong Khemarak Phoumin) airport is now planned for a new location on the other side of the river/estuary. So two in town and one at Botum Sakor.
Not that the first will last very long, 'too close to town and land values are rising fast.
I think the local barons all over the country are realising that if they want to attract all these chinese investors, developers, industrialists and their workers to their fifedoms, they are going to need a local air service to compete.
Even if it is only a paper plan, don't be mistaken. The race is already on.
Get the newcomers in quick and receive them with open arms. In every province.

Clearly true...
Just an example , If they open again Sen Monorom again , they will be surprised by the potential coming dvp , tourists and agriculture investors will go for it ! Governement should follow carefully and pamper these business boosters.
