An update for 11 / 1 /2020 ,,,, I'm gambling that its going to get better.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Re: More Chinese Takeover in Sihanoukville
Interesting piece
"Sihanoukville's casino boom has come to a sudden halt. Cambodia’s beach resort of Sihanoukville, which saw a boom in investments in casinos and hotels from China since 2016, is suffering from the fallout of a mass exodus of Chinese after an online gambling ban came into force on January 1 this year. Construction work and casino openings have come to an abrupt halt when Prime Minister HE unexpectedly announced in August last year that Cambodia would criminalise online gambling. Of 72 casinos in the city, so far four have shut down and 23 have laid off..."

There is a possibility that they finish it at one point in the future. Why not go back then? There even might be an oversupply on rooms which could lead to reasonable hotel prices.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 3:42 pm one place i will never return to ,
