Teacher Accused of Hitting Police Officer & His Wife in Phnom Penh Road Rage Incident (VIDEO)

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A foreign man who was said in the video to be a teacher at an international school (which the school contacted CEO to say he doesn't work there and also didn't work there before either) is accused of attacked a policeman and his wife in a road rage incident.

The victim, who was a police officer, said he left from his work, an was in a hurry to take his wife to work. He drove their motorbike through a red light and hit the foreigner's bicycle. Suddenly, the foreigner attacked him and punched the officer in the face, causing a nose bleed, and his wife was also hit on the head during the attack.

The police sent them to the police station to sort the problem out. The foreigner is heard saying 'tik tik' when asked if he speaks Khmer and it is not clear what the resolution was.

Video footage at the scene and also at the police station where they take the foreigner to talk to and photograph him:

What a twat, no respect whatsoever , standing there smoking a cigarette on the petrol station forecourt in front of a big no smoking sign with police watching, then just throw it on the floor.

How do they know he works at [Admin Edit: name removed, as the school told CEO that he didn't work there]? Does he say that on the video?

If so, that was dumb.

I believe there [Admin Edit: name removed, as the school told CEO that he didn't work there] out that way. I don't know that area, but maybe it was obvious or something. Also, the school in question reached out to us to confirm he didn't work there, so we've removed the name of the school altogether, as this story doesn't seem to have anything to do with them other than the Khmer guy in the video from 2017 saying that.

If you might go to prison, wear something comfy that day.

This was actually from 2017 or earlier, and it says he only wanted to pay $10 USD for the injuries of the officer and his wife:

He should not have hit the lady, everything else is ok. Fucking police officer jumping a red light, crashing into somebody and coming up with that excuse. Pathetic
