Ex daughters wedding
Re: Ex daughters wedding
Avoiding the ex is a good idea, run.
But this might be about a hardly grown up girl who Maybe has been around the OP from the age of 11 onward.
Might be worth giving a second thought OP. Richard’s idea about attending with present, without wallet is worth more thoughts than the picture an video in the posts above.

Re: Ex daughters wedding
If you turn up you are giving her false hope by signaling that you are interested in being in her life. You are not so don’t act like you are. Don’t go, better yet block them to prevent further contact.
Re: Ex daughters wedding
Maybe, just maybe, this girl might have picked up different ideas while being around the OP.

Re: Ex daughters wedding
Lol. Comments are raining down from the truly happily married posters here.
@OP .I don't have much to add, but the comments below are worth considering if this girl was like a daughter to you.

So you saw her every day, kind of brought her up as well, from the age of 11 till the age of 17. Right?
The years of adolescence are very important for a person, Maybe you played a bigger role than you expected in her life?
Did she call you dad?
Do you consider her ur daughter?
if so, by all means go, bring a gift but leave ur wallet at home
doesn't matter who asked you to attend

Re: Ex daughters wedding
WTF>>>
why not be involved in ur daughters life,? just cause you an the ex fell out is no reason to abandon ur kid you raised for years.
some people on here i am amazed at how they think
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
Re: Ex daughters wedding
It’s not his daughter. It is his ex girlfriend’s daughter from an earlier relationship with somebody else, alas his ex stepdaughter at most. The girl was 11 when he started dating her mother.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 8:02 pm WTF>>>

Of course he should be involved in his kid’s life. This is not his kid.

Let’s see.
1. It’s not his daughter. He met the mother when the daughter was 11
2. The spilt was absolute with no further contact by either side for a year.
3. Faxs’ point was that the OP has no intention of being a part of the girls life in the future so why give her the impression he cared.
Richards reply reads like the OP abandoned the mother of “his” child which is clearly not the case. No info has been provided on the closeness of the step daughter relationship but I am guessing it wasn’t that close and would certainly have been soured by the scorned ex wife. It’s women’s only recourse in a confrontation. Men sort it out with physical violence while women up use malicious gossip and character assassination to achieve their goals. So yeah, what relationship the op had with the girl is now dust.
