Eva Air - Phuket to Taipei Direct

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Post by Doc67 »

EVA to Launch Taipei-Phuket Service on 2 April, 2020 Three Flights a Week, New Choice to Visit Thailand

EVA Air will launch a new service between Taipei and Phuket, starting on 2 April, 2020. The airline will serve the route with an Airbus A330-200, configured for 252 passengers with 24 in Royal Laurel Class business and 228 in Economy.

EVA will be the only airline to offer nonstop service from Taiwan to Phuket. The new service can significantly reduce flight time by at least six hours, providing passengers with a more convenient travel option.

Nice flight times too...

Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday Duration
Taipei - Phuket 11:05 14:20 (4.15)
Phuket - Taipei 15:30 21:00 (4.30)

A bit more expensive but way more convenient.

wow, before it was one stop
but not exactly true about saving 6 hours and its not any more expensive.
Nok flies via bangkok 6:30 minutes $310 and up
Thai Lion air/Air asia via Bangkok 6:55 minutes $362 and up
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I thought you might like that Richard...

Yeah, they are puffing up the time saving, but anything direct is always so much less hassle and the extra cost is well worth it, plus you get 30kg free luggage with Eva!
