This sounds good, Anthony BUT I'm not using cambodiaexpatsonline on my phone but on the laptop (I've looked for the app but can't find it). Does this Grammarly also work on an open website on the laptop?Anthony's Weiner wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 7:59 amdownload Grammarly, it is free and autocorrects spelling and grammar on all your apps. Amazes me when I download a newspaper article and Grammarly shows the errors, this app is better than an editor and will make all your writing appear as a highly educated native wrote it.lighthouse wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 6:55 amThanks SternSternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 3:57 amNo sweat, Light - I know what you are talking aboutlighthouse wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 11:56 pmHow the hell can I change the title of the thread please??! Surely a teacher would be looking for an inexpensive car.
there used to be lots of unexpensive cars in Cambodia but sadly they are nearly all gone now >>

yes, it also has a mobile app. The nice thing is it highlights your error and you decide if you want to correct it. My wife uses it as well and by seeing your errors you learn what mistakes you make, in essence, it teaches youlighthouse wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 8:06 amThis sounds good, Anthony BUT I'm not using cambodiaexpatsonline on my phone but on the laptop (I've looked for the app but can't find it). I just installed it and when I was setting it up, it said that the app would have access to EVERYTHING I type AND everything I've ever typed!!!Anthony's Weiner wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 8:10 amyes, it also has a mobile app. The nice thing is it highlights your error and you decide if you want to correct it. Sorry but I won't give ANY app such a power!
You sure you are OK with this happening on your wife's phone?

Bring some small money to the bus station to tip the guys loading your luggage in the trunk. If you buy one seat and have more than one suitcase they might harass you into buying 'tickets' for the extra luggage, tipping them off is the most inexpensive way.lighthouse wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 9:01 pmThank you Lostjeremy! It is indeed a very INexpensive option.
Still, I think I'll rather take a car. I'm traveling with lots of luggage.

I guess from now on I'll be known as the "unexpensive lady".
I can't imagine a better way to take my first steps into a new life...

I believe it is more than $3 to Battambang. I'm guessing $6.

You could also take a taxi from the northwest of the Central market. You just show up and someone will be very happy to rent out their whole car to you. I;m guessing $40 to $50. But you may want to install Google Translate so you can tell them to slow down.
Also, if you hire a taxi be clear that you expect them not to pick up any other passengers (drivers frequently take advantage of this and pick up the odd extra customer to make an extra $).
You could also take a shared taxi but if yo don't want to be too cramped you have to pay for two seats.
