Re: 26Yo British LEWIS DAVIES Dies in Riverside Backpackers
That's very young. And without the usual drug paraphernalia to explain it away.
So, to confirm, this is another 'heart attack', "possibly" by epilepsy?
It seems that there are so many deaths that simply cannot be explained by the first responders, but they are incapable of just saying that and it will require further and more detailed investigation. Instead, they just issue a purported finding of fact and then do nothing else save for moving and storing the body.
In the west the police and coroner would keep their mouths shut except for a standard statement of unexplained death and maybe that their are suspicious circumstances.
Does anyone know whether they carry out a post mortem as a matter of coarse or just put the body in the morgue and await for cremation and funeral arrangements?

The family in Wales are trying to raise money to bring the body home.
English teacher, 26, who 'lived life to the fullest' dies suddenly in Cambodia
His family have paid tribute to a 'kind, loving and trusting' man

A "trusting and loving" teacher from Barry has died unexpectedly while travelling through Asia with his partner.
Lewis Davies, 26, suffered a seizure in Cambodia in the early hours of December 18 and died after his heart stopped, despite receiving more than 30 minutes of CPR.
Mr Davies, who was epileptic, was travelling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia on a working holiday with his partner. The couple were teaching English as they travelled.
Cambodian police received reports that a British tourist had died at the Riverside Backpacker Lodge, in Phnom Penh, at around midday on Wednesday.
The former pupil at Barry Boy's Comprehensive was well-known in his home community in Barry, being a regular volunteer presenter on the BRO radio station.
In a moving tribute to Mr Davies, the family said: "He loved music and playing the piano, as well as radio presenting, and he volunteered as a presenter at in Barry. His biggest dreams were to become a full time radio presenter.
"He also loved to travel the world and take every opportunity and experience he could. Lewis was a kind, trusting, loving person and had a great sense of humor.
"He lived life to his fullest."
The family are desperately trying to raise funds to fly Mr Davies' body back to the UK after it was discovered his travel insurance had laspsed.
Cousin Ceallach Bennett said it would cost £10,000 to return Mr Davies' body to Welsh soil for a "proper burial".
She said: "We're in desperate need. If his body is in Cambodia for too long, he will be cremated there without any of his family.
"We are all in shock and absolutely heartbroken to have lost our kind, lovely Lewis."
Vale MP Alun Cairns has been supporting the family in their dealings with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and is urging people to support the fundraising campaign.
He said: “I’m incredibly sad to hear of Lewis’ unexpected passing. Lewis was a passionate community campaigner, involved with many charities and organisations including Bro Radio and Atal y Fro. He also stood in Vale Council elections in Cadoc ward.
"This is a tragic story. At this time of year when family is so important, his mother Joanne has received the worst of news and reuniting Lewis and his family locally would mean so much. I would encourage everyone to show their support.

Wales must be in a terrible state. If you can't get 10000 pounds from friends or a bank, can't imagine living in a place like that.
Re: 26Yo British LEWIS DAVIES Dies in Riverside Backpackers
You go to the UK and try to get it. banks only lend you money when you dont need it, when you do they tell you you are too poor to pay it back! Wales has nothign to do with it, its just tightfisted ripoff bankers

PLoS One. 2012; 7(8): e42749. Published online 2012 Aug 14. doi: 10.1371/journal.pone.0042749
People with epilepsy are at increased risk for sudden death. The most prevalent cause of sudden death in the general population is sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) due to ventricular fibrillation (VF). SCA may contribute to the increased incidence of sudden death in people with epilepsy. We assessed whether the risk for SCA is increased in epilepsy by determining the risk for SCA among people with active epilepsy in a community-based study.
..............We identified 1019 cases of SCA with ECG-documented VF, and matched them to 2834 controls. There were 12 people with active epilepsy among cases and 12 among controls. Epilepsy was associated with a three-fold increased risk for SCA (adjusted OR 2.9 [95%CI 1.1–8.0.], p = 0.034). The risk for SCA in epilepsy was particularly increased in young and females.
Conclusion
Epilepsy in the general population seems to be associated with an increased risk for SCA.

I highly doubt that. In Germany everybody who is working can get a loan easily. With such a small amount they would only do a very basic background check.
