My Village Wedding

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I find these kinds of threads interesting, thanks OP.

She didn't go crazy with the big hair as many do, that is a good thing. The Cambodian wedding outfits are a lot of fun, my friends in the west asked me if we were dressing up for a star trek convention. (Just chuck those contact lens)

Did they let you pick a few songs or was it Thai music blasting the whole time?

At the parade and at her parent's home it was all Lao morlum music. My wife managed to slip Ed Sheeran's " Perfect" in but it was hardcore old school Isaan music. At our house, we didn t do karaoke and a young, very hip friend from Bangkok ( he wears a poncho) to choose the dance music. We served mushrooms wrapped in bacon, shrimp both raw Isaan style and barbequed and pork riblet smoked with Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel chips.

A lovely thread OP, and I echo other's comments that your wife looks absolutely beautiful. You sure looked like you all enjoyed the day, and it was a lovely read for the rest of us.

Censorship here is pretty bad. I posted something about being grateful not being shown any dick pic in this good thread, unlike in a previous, tedious marriage report by a poster I didn't name. That part of my post was zapped. It was not even insulting it was meant to be slightly funny.

It starts to feel like in China, don't say a word that may offend. Getting too PC to my taste.
