Cambodia to Host the 18th World Bay Congress in 2022
AKP Phnom Penh, December 13, 2019 --

Cambodia will host the 18th Congress of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club in 2022, according to an official letter AKP received yesterday.

According to the letter, the Royal Government of Cambodia has agreed in principle to allow the Ministry of Tourism to host the 18th World Bay Congress in 2022 by linking it with Cambodia's Sea Festival.

It will be the second time for Cambodia to organise this world event. The first time was in 2013 at Bokhor Thansur Resort, one of the latest tourism development projects in Southern Cambodia, under the theme “Blue Sea, Green City”.

Cambodia’s coastline stretches about 450 kilometres in four provinces – Preah Sihanouk, Koh Kong, Kampot and Kep provinces. It became member of the Club of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays in mid-2011.

"Bays" is a transactional, pay for promotion, commercial operation by my understanding. ??
Not necessarily a bad handle to hang a global advertising/awareness campaign on. ?
