The Most Influential Images of All Time

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

That's a weak argument.
It's a Trumpian shortcut to thinking.
"Fake news!" and all that.
So Brody, seriously, apart from just wanting an argument,
-what is your point? You haven't said anything about that yet.

Are you saying that the claim made by TIME when selling this expensive coffee table number,
ie that this is the "100 most influential photographs that changed the world", is an accurate statement?

And/or? That it is not US-centric and globally unrepresentative ??

serious Qs. If we are going to fight to the death tonight, it may as well be about something.
chuckle
(and because, quite frankly i am not in the mood for the way this is going at the moment - 'i never am!)

It's a pretty good collection of photos and I'm not American but I think it's quite representative of world events over the past century. If anyone thinks there are pictures that were more influential they could post them?

They missed out on this powerful image from Thailand in 1976. Warning, this is a very unpleasant image.

Yes I have. I was merely pointing out that the arbiters were comprised of an international group of editors.

I never stated whether or not I thought the photos were worthy of being listed as "The Most Influential....."

I called into question the sentiment that TIME was being inherently biased.

You seem to think that they are......they might be and they might not be.

Is that out of Robocop? You should post the photographer's name at least and maybe the location/ year?

See, it doesn't have to be US centric..
