Wart removal
Wart removal
Can anyone recommend a good (hopefully not too expensive) place to go to get a wart removed?
And if you have any idea how much it's likely to be?
Thanks

I had a little one develop on my knuckle years ago - I got one of those 'wart off' freeze cans and gave it a shot after a long soak, it was gone in days and no scar left at all. Great stuff if you can lay your hands on one here - Pharmacie de la Gare probably best bet.
If it is for genital warts, can't help you sorry.

Re: Wart removal
I had never had warts as a kid, but for some reason I had some appear on my fingers about 25 years ago. I didn't like the idea of getting them burnt off, and there was no google at that time, so I went to the library and looked for natural methods to remove warts.
I found one that said that some people had reported success by rubbing vitamin E cream on the warts. So I gave that a shot.
Morning and evening I would rub some of the vitamin E cream on the warts, about 3 weeks later they were all gone and have never returned.

Thanks for the advice. It's not for me it's for my partner who's been telling me they need to be removed at a clinic.
Nice to know you can buy cream or cans of freeze-off stuff. You've just saved me a few bucks

I encourage people to use natural methods. Choose whichever method you like. Aloe vera is one.
Those wanting a more aggressive approach, buy Iodine at a pharmacy, and apply regularly.

Re: Wart removal
I just remembered, I had a couple of warts earlier this year. I bought some E-Nat cream from a pharmacy on Koh Pich, rubbed it on and same result as above.Username Taken wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 1:20 pm I had never had warts as a kid, but for some reason I had some appear on my fingers about 25 years ago. Grandma's remedy was , she would buy the wart off you for a old copper penny which you would place over the wart and hold there with a rag or sticky tape until forever. Eventually ,,, you would take the penny off and lo and behold, you would find the wart was gone.
