What a pathetic thing to say. Nobody deserves to be a victim of crime. People have every right to use their phone wherever and whenever they like. Of course they should do so sensibly, but to say that someone deserves to be a victim of crime really angers me. You sound like the sort of person who'd say a woman deserved to be raped because of the way she was dressed.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

No woman deserves to be raped, but only idiots and retarded get stolen, you like it or not, it's a fact. As an evidence, it never happened to be to be stolen of anything, EVER in 40 years...

Yes, no one deserves to be raped, no matter you're 70+ or the way you dress. But being a victim of snatching is different. No one can snatch you if you don't use your phone on the street.

This is a very impractical idea. Just don't hold your phone out where it can be snatched.prahkeitouj wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 8:40 am Don't use phone while you are on the street, so it won't happend to you.

Neither have I but I fail to see how that's relevant to the fact that some people deserve to be victims of crime? I hope to God you're not and have never have worked in any capacity of law enforcement.jubo2 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 10:16 amxandreu wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 9:36 amWhat a pathetic thing to say. "Please help me officer, someone's just snatched my phone",
"Of course. But before I do, quick question, were you actually holding it?"
"Erm, it's a phone, so, kinda, yes...I guess...?"
"Well clearly that's your fault then. Now f*** off and stop wasting my time".
I get that people need to be careful with their belongings and take sensible precautions, but no matter how careful you are, shit still happens. And when it does, the decision to commit the crime lies 100% fairly and squarely with the perpetrators of the crime. I'll say it again, nobody deserves to be a victim, no matter how foolish they may have been for a second or two. And anyone who thinks they do is just an apologist for the offender, which leaves me wondering what other crimes they'd be prepared to victim-shame over.
