Hau lamphonc? Train station in bangkok

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

More lies from clever Dick ^.

There is a locker room in the station. It is just inside the main entry on your left.

Here's some info about that:

Also, this map seems to indicate that the train does go to Trang:

I may be going to hell in a bucket,
but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

There are also showers there. You can rent towel and soap or buy them at a store near the left luggage. Also a food hall with basic rice dishes and desserts. The waiting area is ac.

Thanks everyone for the info, it's really a big help. I've just double checked and there is a train from bangkok to trang. Phuketrichard must have different internet service to us. We will not be there until April, but I like to be prepared, cheers 😉

I have taken the train to and from Trang many times, but not recently. If you take the night sleeper, it is a great way to access islands and mainland areas. Sometimes we got put on a bus for part of the journey but the timetable was maintained, give or take a few hours.
