Prayut losing his grip!

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Nothing to do with the particular politics -

Ahhh.. It is so refreshing to see people hitting the streets.
I haven't spent time in Thailand for a decade - i had forgotten about them massing in huge numbers, and the particular quiet, friendly, but still powerful vibe they carry to their rallies there. (until the shooting starts)

The Thais are a bit like the French that way, same as Cambodians when you give them half a chance - Government By The People. Every weekend.
Not like us slacker kiwi's, and the aussies are even worse.

Pete Townshend wrote a song about this type of wasting time.

Cue the next coup. Meet the new boss...

The junta does not have king bumhole backing them now and with Vaj having no support (see article below) these protests could very well escalate. Would the hated Apirat kill with only the support of Vaj? interesting times ahead. Silencing the media in thailand with these protests only causes more harm imo

Actually, the composition of the song is credited to Lennon–McCartney, although George and Ringo of course played on it, plus Nicky Hopkins on piano.

The most important lines come near the end:
"You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free your mind instead"
