There is a branch of Bangkok Hospital in PP.
I would trust Thai doctors.
Otherwise a trip to Thailand.
In Chiang Mai you can go to Chiang Mai RAM hospital, MacCormick, or Chiang Mai University Hospital near Suan Dok gate.
Or in BKK (which could worsen anyone's condition) Bangkok Christian Hospital...
When I need advice about life, I just check in here.

Sorry hiij , I'm not much help, but my interests are more in line with prevention and causes rather than the end result of a problem.
Can you tell us why or what you think has caused your problem of deep vein thrombosis. Is it the type of food you eat , are you over weight and dont exercise, or do you think its in-hereditary , Maybe people from certain countries are more susceptible to your problem. Also what age are you.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

I don't know about the OP but I got a similar problem from kicking cheap street whores in the butt when they wouldn't put out too many times.

Better go to Bangkok for serious stuff. Doctors at Royal PP are good but overworked, the place is understaffed and it's really expensive compared to the treatment you get. DVT is serious so it's better just to have it checked somewhere else. Coagulation factors that are checked at Royal PP will be sent to Thailand anyways and it takes quite some time.

Go to Central Hospital http://www.central-hospital.com/ch/ No. 82 A street 154. See Dr. Chea Pov, best to go weekdays in the morning before 11.30 am. Discuss your problem and he will call in a relevant specialist if necessary.
If you want to arrange an appointment beforehand call Ms Geli the admin manager on 092760056
There is also Sen Sok International University Hospital http://www.sensokiuh.com/en/

You can get some great work done in India for far less than Thailand.

Re: Medical specialist and treatment for Deep Vein Thrombosis
I can tell you that treatment is required now if you have a DVT. Have you been diagnosed with a DVT or you think you may have one?
I had one that went from left ankle to groin.
It started as a sore feeling on the inside of my left thigh and was just anoying for a few days, felt like it may be an ingrown hair but was getting more painful. A week later it was so painful i was limping and the area and it was warm to the touch. The next week (as a stupid male does) I went to my doctor (in Perth). He checked it and asked how long I had had it feeling sore and I said about three weeks. He sent me for an immediate ultra sound scan and called ahead to advise I was coming. The scan was very thorough and I returned with the results to the doc. He said that it confirmed I had a major DVT extending from ankle to groin/ Next minute i was sent to pharmacy to collect a prescription and return to him again (10 mins)
The medication was 5 syringes of Claxane , a blood thinner. He said to get on the bed so I thought I was getting one in the arse so I lay face down. He said roll over so I did. He said lift up your shirt and when I did he grabbed a chunk of my gut and stabed me with the syringe. As I saw it coming I tried very hard to escape but when you are on a bed your retreat is a waste of time.
Anyhow he asked me if I could inject myself in the morning and I said I don't know. He told me he was making an appointment with the Haematology dept at Royal Perth for * am as this was the most serious he had seen and I needed specialist checks to develop a plan ahead.
The panic was that because of the severity of the blockage and the closeness to the major artery from the thigh that a piece could dislodge and enter my heart, lung or brain causing a blockage and then a stroke .
To make it short I was given a choice of the Claxane injections for six months or warfarin. Warfarin is for life so I chose the needles.
I survived and exercise each day, exercise when I fly, usually get an aisle seat so I can move around.
It is no joke and I am lucky to have survived the male stupidity or waiting to see a doctor.
ps. When they make the needles I think they put a blunt one in every second box just to keep you on your toes.
If you think you have it, get it checked.

See if you can find somewhere that offers a D-dimer blood test, it will tell you if you have a blood clot somewhere in your body. Quick and easy.
That was the first thing they did in UK for me. Then an ultrasound to find it and see how big it was. Then months of blood thinners.
