I haven't come across pure pseudoephedrine there (tho i haven't looked, not a recreational thing for me but real handy with a heavy cold/ smog issues) but the stuff mixed with paracetamol is widely available. I was quite surprised at how easy it was to get a prescription in Thailand.
In NZ they banned it in the early 2000's, can't even get it from a Doc. Clearly it didn't have any impact on the meth supply- 1000$ a g then, heard it sells for 4-500 now.

Pseudoephedrine is less effective then ephedrine. Available in Bronkaid pills in the USA, never found an alternative here in Cambodia

Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine can be used to manufacture meth. That’s why it’s not only unavailable but also illegal. Don’t bring medicine containing it to Cambodia.

If you are intent on getting uppers - the only way is through your local tuk-tuk, dealer, riverside hawk or GSM skank.

The pharmacies deal only in pain-killers and anti-anxiety drugs.

Ephedrine is a precursor as fax pointed out so is not available in any meaningful amounts.

You can debate the rights and wrongs of it, but those are the facts on the ground.

Currently, the drive is on against stimulants so expect harsh penalties if caught.

Be aware, you may be random drug tested at a checkpoint.

Take the hit, drive sober and aware and break your journey into manageable chunks.

It’s not because it can be used to manufacture meth that makes this unavailable and illegal.
First it’s available.
I found syrups and pills will pseudoephedrine, and even sold in U-Care. Not been distributed doesn’t mean it’s illegal.
Thailand has a list of banned products and items that clarifies what is illegal and what is not. I didn’t check for Cambodia, but that would clarify what is illegal and what is just not distributed for commercial or import reasons.

It is quite hypocritical, yes. In my opinion the ethics of relaxants should also be debated.

OK, there's 26 posts on this Uppers medicine so can I get slightly off topic and ask where I can get some '' Stupid Pills '' to cure stupidity in the mother of the girls in the family. Probably need a truck load of them and how much for them to be delivered to Takhmau.
On second thoughts maybe need a price for them to be delivered by taxi as they are needed really urgently.

For those that give good advice, I will mention your name in my will.

I would guess Adernall or Modafinil but I don’t know if there are available in Phnom Penh.
