Foreigner Committed Suicide in St 136 Phnom Penh Hostel

Phnom Penh: At 12:20 pm on September 8, 2019, it was reported that a foreigner has committed suicide by hanging in the Khmer Village Hostel, along Street 136 in Phsar Kandal II, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh,
For the moment the authorities are investigating. Details will be published later.
RIP and condolences to family and friends of the deceased.

Jesus, I suspected he was a little depressed but damn. I didn't know it was this extreme. I hope he is enjoying the delicious food in heaven. RIP

His roommate nor I believe he killed himself. His name was Laurent Diardiere, although on his suitcase (first class for life label) they spelled his first name without the letter "t", Lauren Diardiere.

I have no idea if he was ever identified. Nobody came to his apartment on Diamond Island to investigate. It's extremely bizarre he rented a shitty hotel room when he had a nice apartment on the 29th floor in one of the largest buildings on Koh Pich.
