khmer Artifacts

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

I have good reason to believe that these are not ancient artifacts as such and more what could be termed antiques. Rare enough around these parts but nothing looted from Angkorean temples or anything like that.

If Pieman's actually in possession of any artifacts they'd be about as ancient as one of his pastries and worth the same.

He is well known in the opium world, Steve Martin. Sadly he died a while back. He wrote a lot of local guides here and the surrounding countries for lonely planet and others. They are highly inaccurate too. lol. must of wrote them while he was high.
