Is the $5 per day overstay rule still in place?
Hello everyone,
Looking at a potential visa overstay of a week or less. It used to be you could overstay your visa and just pay $5 per day at exit. Is that rule still in place? I'm likely to be exiting overland.

dop dola, bong

Pick up dollar? I think you mean dab.
Let’s write so people can actually understand, shall we? It’s $10/day for overstays, not dop dola or !0$. Overstays over a certain amount of days need to be settled at the airport and cannot be resolved at land crossings.

The Khmer word for ten sounds like 'dop.'
You say ten dollars. They say dop dola.

That's not really true, you need to sort it out at immigration opposite the airport.

OK, so now it's $10. That's a lot steeper. But if it's only a few days , can it be handled at the land border or only at the airport exit? (And I assume here you mean actually in the airport and not at the Immigration office that is across the road from the airport)
