Maybe the tax rebate was a little slow in arriving
Definitely an inside job.
Who the hell in their right mind would burgle here except someone who knew exactly where the cash was!

No security guard at all the night, he was on leave.
The security man at the Tax Department said that that night was his night-off.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

I know, but that means there was only one for the entire building.

I know, but maybe nobody had tried to break into the place for years so the guy just took off with his mates for some beers? Seems plausible given the explanation.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:06 pm I know, but that means there was only one for the entire building.

Stealing the BIG MAN'S dough is not a wise move.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:06 pm I know, but that means there was only one for the entire building.
Most sane people would not attempt it even if they knew there were no guards.
As it is most likely an inside job I suggest the people who did it buy a shovel - they will need it.
