Cambodia News (Kep): On October 18, 2019, the police arrested a 58-year-old man from Turkmenistan, BORIS BAKSALYAR, for an unpaid bill at a Kep guesthouse, in Thmei village.

The immigration police reported that the suspect checked in to stay at Arun Reas guesthouse on October 17, 2019, at 11:10 am. However, when he was asked to pay on October 18, at 03:10 pm, he didn't have any money or a passport. The guesthouse owner called the immigration police who went to the scene to question the suspect.

The foreign man said that he came to Cambodia on November 27, 2018, through the Koh Kong border from Thailand. In December, he extended his visa until March 27, 2019. On April 15 to 29, 2019, he became ill and went to Calmette hospital in Phnom Penh. He had no money for the hospital, so the hospital kept his passport.
