"Housing Agents Here in Phnom Penh Are Amazing!" -Facebook

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If it's true that realtors in PP are shit, it seems like a ripe area for a quality outfit to move in and dominate the sector. Where are our entrepreneurs here?

Honestly, they get enough commission to make it worth it for a westerner.

At least the person ended up realizing that doing the work by yourself is a better way. The light has been seen.

The ones in Snooky are absolutely useless also. What a business opportunity for some company like Remax or the like.

I'll bet a Khmer agent won't answer your email for a $250/month apartment. But will cancel everything for an $800/mo apartment.

I've noticed this. There are plenty of people in the market for $200 to $300 places. Odd that nobody has opened a business to cater to this demographic. There is still money to be made through volume.
