"Personally I NEVER visit a doctor and never will. I just stay home and eat broth and let nature take its course.r

Of course, this is not for everyone."

Yep, but I wish that approach would cure cancer.

"I think people missed a key part of my statement:,'

Personally. I neither missed nor dissed it. For previously stated reasons I dismissed it.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

I've read your first post and not bothered with the rest of the thread because it's important that you go and see a good doctor immediately.

Everything we do on this planet is centered around survival.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

Yesterday saw the fever break with my hands and feet becoming covered in a rash with constant itchiness. Along with everything else It does seem to me I've got dengue.I'm sleeping 20 hours a day trying to ride it out. Feeling marginally better tonight for the first time which I'm pleased about, but I'm still essentially just a big sack of itchy aches, pains and fatigue the likes I've not experienced before.

I think I may have turned the corner, however.

Good to know, thanks. It's super important to keep hydrated. If you can't get ahold of the powdered electrolytes, coconut water has the important electrolytes, though not a full day's worth. Drink a lot.

Papaya leaf tea is shown to elevate platelet counts. It is used for dengue all over Asia.

At least you have seen the possibility of what the problem is, when you mentioned the pneumonia you had me worried for you, being that of myself managed to get drug resistant tuberculosis, no random antibiotics would help in that case or fresh fruit. The other thing here that knocked me was drinking free beer and not being able to piss :beer3: You are not far from better hospitals in India if need them. All the best on recovery :hattip:

I hope you've turned the corner.

I had dengue a couple of months ago here in 'Nam. Not fun. There are four variants of dengue fever... and no treatment. Rest and staying hydrated is all you can do.
You could be next.
