Twice is good, no need for number 3!Duncan wrote:StroppyChops wrote:Oh, to address the OP, in a happy, healthy monogamous marriage with Mrs Stroppy. Our seven year anniversary last week, 10 good years together. I love her so much I married her twice![/quote]
But if you really, really, really love her, you would marry her three times.

Wouldn't being married to a Viet, or Thai or Lao, etc, count as 'international'? Or is 'international' code for non-Southeast Asian? Though I guess being married to an ethnic Vietnamese with Cambodian citizenship would be 'other'.Kuroneko wrote:Most of the people I know are in fairly long term de facto relationships with either Khmer or Vietnamese women and I think that would be the reason for many people voting "other". Also guys "married" to Vietnamese women would be in the "other" section. I think there will be overlap with the "married" as usually guys in long term relationships refer to their de facto as wife.
And does living together long enough to count as common law marriage count as married?

to me the ONLY real reason ever to get married is if you have kids
to a lessor extent if ur in SE Asia, to make ur gf's family gain face and waste money

Well yes, but it also enters you into a secret brethren of married men. A bit like the freemasons, but can't speak about it until after your MC Hammer pants, giant dictator sized portrait is hanging on the wall of fame.
