Where can I buy 18650 cells in bulk?
Re: Where can I buy 18650 cells in bulk?
Thank you guys very much. I was very busy the last few days so I wasn't able to answer more quick. I will give the guys in Orussey Market a try (at least for prototyping) but when it gets to the big numbers, I guess I will have to order from China. And yes, you are absolutely right: when ordering those amounts, the investment into a decent spot welding machine pays off quickly.
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over

If it were I buying that many I would buy from AliBaba, or a similar site, where you could buy wholesale. The price for Sony's drops to $1 each with large quantity. Also buying from China you will be more likely to get cheap or free shipping, which in my experience shipping is the biggest problem with buy these cells.

Re: Where can I buy 18650 cells in bulk?
Does anyone want some used 18650 cells? I was working on something but have to abandon it as I'm going overseas.
I had harvested around 600 odd originally from scrap laptop batteries. I have sorted through them and have around 300 left that I consider to be very good. I binned the cells that initially had low voltage, binned the ones that have low capacity, binned those with high internal resistance and especially binned anything that heated up when I charged/discharged them.
I have a load of equipment too that I plan to take with me tomorrow, but if anyone is in need of such stuff and would like to discuss it send me a pm. I have decent soldering iron with separate base unit, soldering station etc, multimeter, clamp meter, 6x liitokala lii-500 charger/checkers.
