Thailand PM considers moving capital as Bangkok congestion takes toll

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

The big question is,,,, is Pattaya sinking faster than Bangkok.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Oh Yong - don't fret about Singapore.
They just keep buying up Cambodia's sand and keep expanding.
30% increase in territory by "reclamation" is the target, I believe.
At huge environmental cost to Cambodia and enormous profit to Singapore.

(sorry Yong, you know i love you, but i couldn't let that one slip by.
Singapore is culpable here - big time)

It's certainly not Singapore:s fault if they sing "Mr. Sandman bring me a dream...." to the right financial tune and Sandman delivers out greed and nonchalance to his fellow countrymen.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Actually the unrequested removal thereof and subsequent sale are what I find offensive. There's no caveat emptor at that level.
