MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2 TB external hard drive and a HDMI cable. If the budget stretches a cellular IPad mini and $5 monthly Cellcard XG for outside. Okay I'm an Apple fan I admit it.

Apple products are expensive, but they are extremely well constructed and extremely sexy. Software is easy to use and abundant. It just works. It's stable. It's sexy. Did I say that yet? The only qualm I have is the lack of customization which I know Android devices offer.

Yes, if by expensive you mean horribly overpriced. (IMO)
