The reason she rubs people up the wrong way, and I include myself in this, is her polemic style attitude and general self righteous attitude where she places herself at the center of all she does. A bit like Diana and her kids mines work. Its all a bit self promotional. All young people have an ego and hers is being fed hugely and to her detriment. Another thing is here she is jetting all over the world to talk about climate change in such militant terms and leaving a far larger footprint than most teenagers. If she wants to be militant about climate change, fine, but absolutely live by your own words and make it about climate change rather than herself protesting about climate change.

My 2 cents.

I predict suicide before age 30.
A 2016 population study in Sweden also concluded that suicide is a leading cause of premature death in people with autism spectrum disorder.

Dr Sarah Cassidy from Coventry University cites a clinical study she led in 2014 -- also published in the Lancet Psychiatry -- in which 66% of adults newly diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome (AS) reported having contemplated suicide.
Dr Cassidy from Coventry University's Centre for Research in Psychology, Behaviour and Achievement said,"What relatively little we know about suicidality in autism points to a worryingly high prevalence of people with the condition contemplating and attempting to take their own life.
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 194808.htm

A recent study published by in The Lancet Psychiatry found that adults with Asperger’s have a higher risk of contemplating suicidal thoughts than the general population. According to this research, “two-thirds of adults with Asperger Syndrome had contemplated suicide and a third had planned or attempted suicide during their lifetime.” These findings are not meant to shock the public; the goal of this research was to spark a conversation about the increased need for better quality services that can address the needs of those with Asperger’s.

Social isolation and bullying are often the cause of suicide. As you are no doubt aware the young lady has Aspergers and thus will be socially isolated through no fault of her own. The bullying is entirely in your court and just like the orange clown you often post such glowing praise of you join in regardless of the consequences. It's a shame you didn t also listen to the orange clown's hooker wife and try to "be best". Making nasty comments about a 16-year-old girl with autism is the hallmark of a stable genius, just like tRump's tweet about her.

Actually , you are the one at the greatest danger of suicide. " Globally, older adults have higher suicide rates than other age-groups. However, it is predominantly men who die of suicide in late adulthood, rigidity in coping and in sense of self, consistent with hegemonic-masculinity scripts emerged as individual-level clues." https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10 ... lCode=jmma

Any predictions?

Almost like a spokesperson or something? Is it like she is trying to draw attention?

I'm all down with highlighting global issues and bringing much needed attention to certain matters, but I fear we now live in a world under siege from an outrage culture where the individual's protest is more about them claiming an identity than pushing a cause.

It seems that it doesn’t matter what Greta does, to you it’s wrong regardless. It’s stupid Greta on an airplane or stupid Greta on a boat regardless.

Is it jealousy? Didn’t they pay enough attention when you were 16?

Perhaps if she were to write stories about her imaginary DR boyfriend that drives a reall nice car and comes from a really good family it would not be so "look at me". At least she has a commendable motive, obviously, some on the forum feel her "polemic" style belongs only to adults world leaders and a child should not engage in such adult behaviours.
