Another Fatal Truck Crash in Sihanoukville

Truck accidents are occurring almost daily in Sihanoukville. Concrete trucks are everywhere.
Death by Truck in Sihanoukville

Sihanoukville: A collision between a cement truck and a motorbike collided around 5 pm on September 21, 2019 on a road in the Special Economic Zone, Pou Thuong Village, Bat Trang Commune, Prey Nup District, Preah Sihanouk province.

The truck driver fled the accident scene on foot. The motorcyclist, a 29 year old man, was killed instantly. RIP.

Preah Sihanouk: A traffic accident happened at 4:15 pm on September 22, 2019 on National Road 4 between Kilometer 153-154 in Stung Chhay Village, Stung Chhay Commune, Kampong Seila District, Sihanoukville, between a car going toward Phnom Penh and a truck driving toward the coast.
Four people have been taken to hospital with severe injuries. The driver of the Hyundai car was unharmed and ran away from the accident.

WTF is all this running away from an accident all about, leaving the scene of an accident.
Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 170(4)......Maximum sentence of six months' imprisonment and/or a fine.

Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 1..(Causing death)....Maximum sentence of 14 years' imprisonment.

That is UK so don't expect anything like that here, but ffs it's ridiculous, they all run away if they ain't broken both their legs, what do the police and courts do when they find the driver ???
