Icelander Arrested for Living Illegally in Siem Reap With No Money
Cambodia Breaking News (Siem Reap): On July 20, 2019, at 8:30 am, a 34-year-old man from Iceland, INGOLFSSON INGOLFUR STEINAR, was arrested for living illegally at the Angkor Elysium Suite Hotel, Sangkat Sala Sronge, Siem Reap.
The police said the Icelander came to Cambodia as a tourist on April 09, 2019, through Siem Reap Airport and he stayed at Angkor Elysium Suite hotel.
He lost his passport on May 07, 2019, and went to file a complaint at the police station. He received a document from the embassy, but he didn't apply for the visa because he didn't have enough money. He owed money at the hotel for eating and staying. In the end, the Icelander was taken into custody, and sent to the immigration department in Siem Reap waiting for deportation.

He should have just said, "Oh. I'm a member of the band Kraftwerk. Just send the bill to our record company. They'll take care of everything."
