What's with this rain?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Up until now I have only ever seen big rainshowers lasting an hour or so and then it goes. I can't remember anything like this, it like England (just warm rain!)

Is there a big storm about? I was here last year at this time and don't remember rain like this.
Its normal. weather patterns have been erratic last few years but before that it was usually short 1 hour downpours at the beginning of the rainy season and towards the end it used to turn into longer, generally lighter deluges that could go on all day or night

I think it all depends on where you are. Snooky can have lots of rain for days yet not a drop in PP.

Take all that with a grain of salt as I haven't been in shitsville for a few years so will leave it to the experts that live there to tell what it's really like.

Traditionally, the US military has stayed out of the CIA's frequent partnerships with drug cartels, except for maybe a bit of tactical support and the threat of muscle.

Ask Ollie.

I love rain but it has been a solid 4 days here in Sa Pa. And it is a holiday weekend and town is packed. A lot of unhappy faces.
