As much as it's appealing to say pedos and white supremacists are all one and the same, I doubt there's much more overlap among those groups than any other two groups, so you have to wonder what it is.

I suspect it's a mixture of things: half remembered 20/20 specials showing the likes of Gary Glitter in Cambodia, the relatively cheap opulence one can live on with very modest income by western standards, and of course the belief that they can pay off anyone they need to. This belief seems to lead a lot of criminals to "hide out" in places like Riverside, which seems like a gross overconfidence in corruption and ineffectiveness. I'm surprised you don't hear of criminals hiding out in some village in Mondulkiri — you might be able to know for sure that the two cops who ever visit the town are for sure in your pocket. I guess the old police adage applies: criminals are stupid.

I do not condone nor can see why any adult would take a kid , not is own to his room ,really stupid thing to do, BUT
if, when it goes to court
its he says nothing happened, the boy says something happened ( and will be pressured into saying something did, even if nothing did)
the staff can confirm the boy stayed there overnight, BUT is that crime?

I assume they ask the boy if he Shaun any identifiable marks on his .....
Do they do rape kits on boys?
