Chinese Tourist Bag Snatched While Visiting Temples
Cambodia Breaking News (Siem Reap): On August 20, 2019, at 1:54 pm, a 55-year-old female Chinese national, WU TIANWEN, got her bag snatched by three men while she was in a tuk-tuk near Angkor Thom temple, Siem Reap. The victim lost two passports, money 30,000 riels, 200 USD, 51,000 yuan, 2 ID cards, and 6 ATM cards.
At 4:40 pm, the police found the suspects near Ta Prom Temple. While two of the suspects got off their motorbike and ran into the forest, the other suspect tried to escape with the bike, but he got caught by the police in Lang Dai village.
The suspect identified as Mao Rotana, 19-years-old. The police confiscated a motorbike and a black bag.
