Lawyer who take pro bono!

I looking a lawyer who take pro bono case! Case is simply criminal case. Suspect a poor illiterate, serious TB illness khmer girl. She stay in Prey Sar CC2 now. Main goal she go out from there and transporting a detention center ( Prey Speu?). Authorities
Have no enough evidence for criminal case!

I seriously wish your friend luck.

From the eternal tourist prospective, simple and Cambodian criminal law are not synonymous.

The judge simply declares innocence or guilt, and the evidence does not matter. Lawyers don’t matter.

There is always an underpinning of power. If she was chosen to be a scapegoat or to be made an example by the powers that be, it will be difficult to reverse.

I hope your sick friend can get out. Has she tried begging the judge for clemency to the King for a pardon?
