18 St 278, Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Second photo looks like Anise Hotel
That's the one, I couldn't remember the name, they had a 241 cocktail special and made a decent drink, food good too
The Filling Station
ugg, went in there once, it was awful, think we were the only ones in there
Stay anywhere within a couple of km of the independence monument and use passap to get around. Doesn't really get any easier than that.
278 - is ok.
Depends what you look for...
so 278 is known as a bar/restaurant area? Or can you pretty much find similar areas anywhere in PP?
its hard to explain what we look for, a bar with some life but not one filled with Aussies pumping out Cold Chisel

thanks for suggestion I'll check out the monument as a central guide
passap the way to go rather than just grabbing tuk tuk?
Even the ugly ones
